Susan Lovell-Brigati

A music major (instrument is cello) with a Masters of Science, Susan has a rich and varied background in academia and in the entertainment industry. She
was employed as a Music Specialist teaching in the Montclair education system and has been employed as an adjunct faculty member working on the “critical thinking” aspect of the teacher education program at Montclair State University.

With respect to Susan’s extensive performance experience, she excelled as a voice talent doing voice overs and narrations for various entities including but not limited to Pearson Education. Susan narrated various programs for them, including World Geography Series which won numerous TeleAwards for excellence and also voiced literature readings. In addition, Susan has recorded numerous radio spots for other entities, both singing and speaking and also recorded radio commercials for Resorts International.

A versatile performer and talented vocalist, Ms. Lovell-Brigati has appeared in various venues in the New York cabaret circuit, and has headlined at The Playboy Club and at Rodney Dangerfields. She has also free-lanced with numerous bands in the New Jersey/New York area, notably as a background singer for Eddie Brigati of “The Rascals” at many of his performances and also on his recording sessions. With respect to The Rascals”, Susan sang background with them at the First Reunion of the Original Rascals at the Tribeca Grill in May of 2010. This performance was the precursor of their “Once upon A Dream” tour. A principal female vocalist for The Main Event, Susan is now reprising this role in The Main Event Big Band.
