Tony MigliaccioTony was born and raised in Brooklyn. He began his musical career at age seven, playing in a drum and bugle corps. In high school Tony played both trumpet and tuba. He went on to become proficient on the baritone horn, alto and soprano sax and clarinet. Not only a horn player, but also an arranger, Tony was the recipient of the Kiley Trophy and Lincoln Center Student awards. Tony studied tuba with Joseph Novotny, principal tuba, New York Philharmonic Orchestra and also pursued a course of study on trumpet with Victor Paz, lead trumpet in the Broadway production of Cats. A founding member of The Main Event, Tony has also performed choral and instrumental liturgical classical music and continues to do so. |
